Giving free bystander CPR classes to the residents of the Bayou Region is a far-reaching project. Keep the Beat is a nonprofit event for the community, requiring co-sponsors from the area. To help provide this service to the public, there are several ways to be involved.

COMMITTEE

Volunteers are needed to serve on the following organizing committees: logistics, marketing, instructors, volunteer and finance. If interested, email: cpr@cardio.com

INSTRUCTORS

Certified CPR instructors are needed to teach at the training marathon. "Keep the Beat welcomes BLS instructor-trainers, BLS instructors, BLS providers (cardholders) and ACLS instructors to teach. Sign up here.

EVENT SET-UP

At the training event, volunteers are needed for general set up to assist with registering participants and seating.

EVENT PROMOTIONS

Before the event, volunteers are needed to help register people for the training sessions and to distribute posters and flyers in the community.
